Jon had a COLNAGO EPS frameset built up with some lovely parts was hankering for it to get refreshed so it felt like a new bike again.
So we took his inspiration for a blue fade colour scheme and asked Tim at TJC Design in Bristol to recreate the paint scheme. As the graphics on a Colnago are painted on rather than decals as many companies use Tim had to recreate artwork for each of the logos from scratch.
On the component side we had the Campagnolo levers rebuilt with new compression plates to make the shifting as crisp as new and swapped out all of the cables and chain, along with a new saddle and bar tape.
FInally we added in the Lightweight wheels that jon had sitting in a box and voila. A modern classic bike that weighed less than the UCI weight limit!
